History of the World in 10½ Chapters
A History of the World in 10½ Chapters by Julian Barnes was published in 1989. Have you read it? Now recognised as a masterpiece of post-modern literature, it is a collection of short stories in different styles; they echo each other and have subtle connection points. Carpenter bugs are one of the see-through characters in the novel, it will not be an exaggeration to say so. But the book is not about beetles; it is about our sinking mankind....
These shots I took, easily could decorate its cover. Probably there is a connection here: being under impression of reading the said book, I looked around and probably thats why I took the pics...

I didn't hear about this book before, I'll check it this summer. post-modern is a category on which I'm easily hooked :) so I will surely check this.
oh fine than. I think you will not be disenchanted. PS. I've googled out a lot of book covers yesterday, probably will do one more post about it. @borjan
