Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest titled "That big mistake that I wouldn't forget in a hurry" organize by @okere-blessing

What do you describe as a mistake?

A mistake can be best describe as the one thing that has happened or a person does which triggers a blame from the conscience and also a sense of regret from such actions, activities etc

In other words a mistake can be termed as a voluntary action that a person does which at the end leads to regret and the person wishing he or she had stayed away from it

How did you make that mistake that you wouldn't forget in a hurry, share your story with us.

The one thing that I can best describe as a mistake which or course I won't forget in a hurry too place on January when I was still working in a hotel before I quit, and I know that at this point you all are probably wondering what that little mistake was, but trust me it portrays a violent scenario.

I was working there as a waiter in the hotel, the job was nice and fun because you get to meet a lot of interesting people daily until when my second boss came and hit me on the chest and wanted to fight me over a minor issue

So now my mistake here was not hitting or pushing him back, the guy was just the second or should I say some random folks chosen to oversee our activities but he was taking his actions out of line.

I know that it's a good thing that I did when I kept quiet and walked away but I don't know why my conscience won't let me rest, blaming me that I should have at least stand up for myself that day

By the way the issue took place in front of everyone and I was so ashamed of myself but anyways thank God I walked away.

Do you learn anything from the mistake?

Yep I learn something from that and trust me it isn't what you all are thinking, sometimes it is very good to be good and as much as my conscience won't let me rest over that issue I definitely learnt that violence isn't the only solution to a problem, sometimes there's more respect in walking away from a fight.

Do you think mistake is a must in every human life. Share your thoughts.

Yep like they say that no one is perfect and that everyone no matter who you are is vulnerable to making mistakes but how we respond to them on a daily basis matters the most, also no matter how careful and moderate you think you are you can never escape making mistakes in one thing or the other

This will be the end of my entry and I will like to invite

What makes a person different is not whether they make mistakes, but how they respond to them—whether by learning, improving, or ignoring them. The humility to admit mistakes and the courage to correct them is what makes a person grow.
