The diary game [29/04/2024]// Attending Sunday service.

Hello everyone. Greetings and welcome to my diary post. I bring to you a piece of work on how I spend my Sunday in the presence of the Lord.

It's a weekend and on a special day, Sunday. On this day I get to go worship and listen to the word of God. Although I have been somehow down health wise, I didn't want to miss today.

Without making more narratives, I will give you the details on how this day happened right away. Read on with me.

Diary proper.

I work up today somehow feverish, I'm having symptoms of common cold. But then I decide that wasn't going to stop me from going to church. I move to the bathroom and get a shower.

Afterwards I dressed up, and ready to go. I didn't bother much about breakfast as I wasn't going to stay that long in church. So instead I took normal warm water, for it health benefit and also to keep my body warm.

I Left the house at about 9.00. a.m. my ride to church took 15 minutes. While in church, I move to my seat at the balcony waiting for procession to begin.

9:30 a.m. procession began. This is an activity where the pastor and the church elders sworn in the cross. After that there is a word of prayer from the pastor. Followed by a song from the the praise team.

Sunday lessons today were really amazing, I was reminded of a lot of things which makes me strengthen my faith in God. As time pass by, service gradually come to an end. It was a wonderful Sunday indeed.

After service, I decided to stick around to get at least one or two photo, which I could use as my diary. While I'm done, I took a bike and head home.

At home I changed and then decide to go on a walk, it was really warm inside and I thought getting some fresh air will help. I left to a sheltered location in my area and had some time for myself.

On my way back, I bought some fried chicken and plantains which is what I had for lunch. After that, I use the rest of the time to prepare my notes against school on the next day.

Dear diary. I had a wonderful time in the house of God and learned a lot from the preaching of today's service. Also the rest of the time I spend home was interesting especially the chicken 🍗 part😊. Thank God for a good day like this one.
