We live in a perfectly unstable corrupt country!

This is literally down the road from me. It's raining so I couldn't take a proper photo of the view from my house, but this one is just as good. It will prove a point that I'm training to make.

I live in an extraordinary beautiful country. This is a fact. South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Everywhere around me I see nature in its full beauty. The parks board in our area is very strict and they are very focused on preserving nature. You are not even allowed to cut down specific trees and you have to build your house around a tree if it is illegal to remove it.

I have an exceptionally beautiful garden where everything just grows by itself, without me looking after it. I'm sure if you put a stick in the ground, it will grow. We are visited by little Vervet - monkeys every day, and we even see little bucks in the yard from time to time. We have a beautiful variety of birds. Little birds come and bath in our birdbath, and I can sit and watch the hummingbirds dive into the pool from my deck.

At night the sky is so open and clear and you can see more stars than you can count.

I live in a beautiful double storey house and I have everything that I need. I live in a very small town on the South Coast of South Africa in Kwazulu-Natal.

Some people would say that we are fortunate, because we live comfortably and have little worries. We obviously have some debt, but we are able to pay it and we don't live higher than what we can afford.

I even provide a job for one girl, that has been with me for seven years now and I pay her a decent salary to look after the household. I work online so I don't even have to go out of my house.

I have a beautiful view from my deck over the ocean, and in winter time I can sit and watch the whales jumping and playing in the ocean.

From outside it looks and sounds as if I live in a perfect world, but it is when you go out of my yard that things start going south.

South Africa is a beautiful CORRUPT country, and to top that it also has one of the highest crime rates in the world. People complain about Donald Trump, but I would accept him with open arms. The leadership in South Africa is up to nuggets and the infrastructure of the country is busy collapsing.

We have been without water for twelve days now. We are literally being kept hostage by our municipality because there is an illegal strike, and people are forced not to work otherwise they will get killed. Because of this idiocy thousands of people in my town as well as neighboring cities are left without water.

I have a water- tank which we had to install to have backup water for the times when we are not provided with water, but water is a basic human right. I pay for water every month but I don't get the service that I pay for. On top of that, we don't have electricity for four hours per day due to load-shedding. Our Electricity company is corrupt and we have to pay the price. We have been unable to wash clothes for twelve days now and if you see what I am currently wearing you will have a good laugh.

Why in the world would anyone put anyone in charge of a country if they are not competent to run it? I get nauseous just thinking about it. I don't like complaining, because I am grateful for what I have, but life gets difficult when you don't have the basic necessities that you need to survive. Even my swimming pool is green because the water level is just too low to let the pump run. Without water you can't wash dishes, clothes, cook or even shower properly. The little water that we have, we use for basic hygiene. It is really a disaster and guess what? Our government doesn't care.

Our counselor from the party in charge of the country has vanished into thin air. She gets paid nearly $4000 per month without lifting a finger. If I could get her job I would be smiling all the way.

Everything is just going downhill and soon there will be nothing left of our beautiful country. It's real sad that things have to turn out like this but as long as the government officials drive cars that cost millions and live in houses which only they can afford nothing will change. It feels as if I'm living in the time of Marie-Antoinette.

Government doesn't care about any of us and how do you stand up against a government where the next person is even more corrupt than the previous person. We just sit back and watch. I see this every day. We complain but nothing really gets done to fix any issues. All their solutions are just short term solutions and time after time they fail to produce what they promised.

I am sick of this place. I have no pride left for this country but we live in a rainbow world and we adapt to the situation. I don't want to be near when somebody actually just had enough and they start taking action. That would not be a funny sight.

We are strong, and we are tough but one of these days things are just going to go too far and then the bomb will explode.
