Today, I will give my opinion in this regard by answering the some of the topics i made for this competition by joining an amazing contest on the title *SEC-S17W2- "Homeless people in my country". So sit back, open your minds, and let us embark on this journey together.

Yes, homelessness is a significant issue in India.These individuals often live in challenging conditions on streets, under bridges, and in other public spaces. The actual numbers may be higher than reported due to various counting methods. Homelessness affects men, women, and children, with a high proportion of street children and mentally ill individuals among the homeless population. Efforts to address this issue include governmental and non-governmental programs.

Homelessness in India is a complicated problem with more than one reasons. Poverty is a number one component, because it limits get right of entry to to low-cost housing and basic necessities. homelessness remains a pressing issue in India, with multiple complex causes such as poverty, urbanization, mental illness, addiction, and domestic violence. Thank God the government has taken steps to address this issue through initiatives like the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana and the National Policy on the Urban Homeless.
