How to Ripen Avocados Fast

These are the avocados I ordered three days ago. All three of them were delivered in a solid green like the two on the right.

The avocado on the left was rolled up on paper, and one and a half days after in room temperature the color changed to dark brown like on the picture. The other two are still green and hard.

If you don't want to eat it right away, you can cook it in a refrigerator at a low temperature for 2 to 3 days! If it turns dark brown color, and soft enough to you can feel your hand, it is fully riped. You can enjoy avocados like this or you can keep it in the fridge for 2~3 days if you don't want to have right away.

You can use the ripe avocado for smoothies, guacamole, salad, sushi rolls, etc., and you can keep it in the freezer after sprinkle some lemon juice for the leftover avocados.

Some people suggesting microwave the avocados for ripening but please don't do that. It changes the whole flavor.

This is the avocado season in Vietnam :) I can have good quality avocados with a cheap price every day here!
