Let's Make Roast Potatoes!

Hey guys, this is @ramengirl. Today I'm going to make roast potatoes! I know it takes a little bit of time to make this but after you cooked it you're going to notice it is worth it! Potatoes are always good no matter how you cook but roast potatoes​ are definitely​ my favorite potatoes dish! It's so soft and you can taste potatoes original taste!

Roasted Potatoes

Prep: 20mins
Cook: 60mins

Ingredients:

• 400g of potatoes
• 1/4 cup of olive oil
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
• 1 teaspoon of dried herb (such as basil, Italian herb...) or fresh herb

Course:

1. First of all, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Peel potatoes and dipped in cold water immediately. Cut potatoes into two or three pieces(depends on the size). Put potatoes in the pot and pour cold water until potatoes are totally soaking. Add a 1/2 tablespoon of salt and boil it for 10 minutes in the medium heat.
2. 10 minutes later, hold the potatoes against the sieve and wait until the moisture is done.
3. Place potatoes to oven trays and add olive oil and dried herb or fresh herb. Sprinkle pepper and salt on the potatoes and mix evenly. You can use butter instead of olive oil as well.
4. Bake in a preheated oven for 45 to 1 hour.
5. Flip the potatoes every 15 minutes. And it's done!

Roast potatoes are a perfect side for winter and of course​ Christmas dinner! But I wanted to make this now because I found newly harvested potatoes at the supermarket​! It was so soft and fresh 😌

Omg! This is the number one dish with potato I have seen! It's very easy and the colour looks very beautiful!
