This plant is a natural colourant used to prepare dishes like jollof rice and stew .

STEPS TO GROW THIS PLANT ARE AS FOLLOWS
Step 1 : get the seeds from the ripe plant
Step 2 : nurse them in a nursery box
Step 3 : water it daily
Step 4 : after two weeks, transplant it to the permanent site
Step 5: add manure to the plant every two weeks
Step 6 : for better results, do not use too much chemical on the plant, so as to derive better result that its taste and colour gives
