MundaneArt contest - Tree Bark
I only stumbled across this contest a few days ago, now upto round 4, I really like the idea and will do my best to support it in the future. Looking at what would normally be considered 'mundane' or boring, but when one takes the time to look at anything with the right mind frame, we can see the beauty in everything. Totally agree with the philosophy behind this contest, and also in particular the images you have chosen to share to enter it. Tree bark is absolutely beautiful. I have a big collection of macro photography of tree bark. Such interesting textures. Cheers - Carl
I really like the pattern of the first. I could see that being very nice for a wood veneer on furniture, or even the walls of your house.
