My contribution for the OpenSource challenge is Part 2 of my review of the Knitrias Project Roadmap, here you can review the first Part:

I will continue to use the same format as last time. My titles of the weeks will always adress the week before and the weekly report, as well as my own experiences and developments during this project.
The last Report ended with week 08, therefore I will pick up where I left off and continue with week 09.

Week 09

When week 09 began, I had 244,69 SP, my SP had increased by 23,71 SP in the past week. I continued to participate in all the challenges, as well as writing my blog. However I did not write any other posts, other than the challenges and my blog.

This week marked the end of the first 2 months of the project. This called for an evaluation of the @Knitrias Account, the Curation trail (updated with all the new members added and the former members removed), as well as a summary of information on the current members and former members.

The report this week included extremely interesting information:

Week 10

In the 9th week, I decided to take my publications up a notch and give it even more time and energy, due to a change in my personal life. I will explain more about what exactly I changed in a moment, first I want to focus on the growth I had made by the time the 10th week began. I had increased my SP by 76,67 that week and had a total of 321,36 SP. I was very happy with my growth, but it was not enough, I could do better, I thought and acted upon it. In week 09 I had made 4 publicationsin total, although one was an announcement to take a break from my depression blog for one week. The purpose of the break was to increase the quality of my posts and not to lose myself in focussing on quantity.

The report of week 10 and the development in the project
At the beginning of the 10th week we had our second graduate member of the project: @F21Steem!
We also gained 2 new members that week @vikavi and @isabellta 😊

This is the information we were provided with in the week 10 post:

This week introduced a new method to encourage us and help our growth. A members initiative was started. Each member was encouraged to create a challenge or contest, in which the steemit community could participate in.

Week 11

After the report of week 10, my interest was spiked for the members initiative and I began to brainstorm aboutwhat kind of a contest or challenge to create. It was a challenge for me at first, because I could not decide on the topic, which would enable the majority of the steemit community to have the opportunity to participate in. After 2 days, I thought of the Branches of Longevity Challenge and my Short Story (that no longer is short lol) and decided to make a Short Story Contest.
If you want to see how it began, please look at the comments of the week 10 report, there you can find my 3 drafts for the rules and format of the Contest. I will now share my posts of the Short Story contest with you and mention, if there was a special reason for a post I made.

Publishing of the Contest itself:

In the first 6 days of the Contest, I just read entries, created a discord channel for the judges (@Leveuf and me), although we didn’t use it. I was paying attention to checking all of the entries, if they were in accordance to the rules. If the entry was not in accordance to the rules, I left a comment informing the participants what they need to change, for the entry to be valid. After 5 days, we already received many entries, but sadly many were not in accordance to the rules, so I decided to make a comment under the contest publication. I mentioned all of the participants whos entries were not valid, telling them what should be changed for their contributions to become valid.

After 6 days, some participants had decided, that they would not like to change anything anymore, which was fine. I was sad to see that some amazing entries would not be counting, but I did not want to leave them unmentioned. One of the most breath taking contributions was by @kaysmile44, he wrote a beautiful, emotional and serious poem. So I created a post to honor his poem.

In the rules of the contest I had set, that the contest would be running for 7 days and the winners would be announced 2 days after the contest had ended. After the contest ended, we had a total of 11 contributions from which 4 were valid and 7 were invalid. Because we had so many entries that were invalid, I decided to make a post to publish which entries would be eligible to win. But since all of the entries were fascinating and special in their own way, I want to mention them nonetheless.

Today was the day of the announcement concerning the winners, which concluded the contest for good.

I am extremely thankful to @Knitrias and @Leveuf for this initiative, I have grown in so many ways through this, that I can’t even explain it.

The Report of week 11
At the beginning of the 11th week, the 100 days of Steem came to an end. @Knitrias has written a small summary of it, also mentioning other projects.
Information included in the Report of week 11

I will also share with you my growth concerning my SP, I had a weekly increase of 53,71 SP, which lead me to a total of 375,07 SP. I am looking forward to the next Report, to see how we all have grown and how the project continues to thrive!!!

Thank you very much for reading. 😊

A great progress, organization skills and of course an awesome experience in conducting your contest. Surely you will find more interactions since this experience will translate in the value of your presence and content.

Just for the record:

Although my suggestions listed are still wrong.

I've asked you to please tell me what do you want to be registered there as in here:

So, again. In the Report is registered this:

  • Aknowledgement to the project and its Members for the developments and encouragement in the personal blog, the use and knowledge about the platform and interconnections with different users and other projects.
  • Description of the weekly challenges and the creative and learning opportunities.
  • Summary of the contributions, progress on creative writing, posts on depression and new skills gained during each one of the first eight weeks.
  • Suggests to create one post on the Knitrias Project Community, adressing all of the new members, sharing the guidelines of the project and links to the Reports where are explained some basics on the Steemit platform's operation and the main contributions by the Members on the subjects of the Open Source challenge.
  • Suggests one monthly post for discussion based on suggestions by the Members expressed on the comment section of the weekly reports.

Please comment here with the exact text you want to be registered and I'll gladly change it.

Thanks for participate in this week's Open Source challenge by the Knitrias Project.

I had already done that in the commets exchange, wait I will post it here again.

@Knitrias and @Leveuf, here my three suggestions

  • 1 monthly discussion post, containing topics suggested by the members, that have been posted in the comments of the weekly discussions.

  • 1 discord channel for the knitrias project members

  • 1 Guideline post for new members, containing the information that has been provided in the weekly reports as well as the best and most simple posts on the tools (OpenSource challenges)

The last suggestion I am already working on. But I need help translating @Adeljose s post on Markdown, I believe it's very straight forward, but I am not confident that all of our members (including myself) understand spanish... Of course I will post the link, but I also want to include a translation for all non spanish speakers.
