UK Trip - Airports, First Flight & Right Hand Drivers 😉
Almost 2 years ago I had a chance to visit the United Kingdom, more precisely England & Wales. Together with my friends and one fantastic teacher - Mr. Michael, (yeah teacher because it was a school trip but totally different) we were having a fantastic time and we were able to meet some new amazing people.
I would like to share with you guys my impressions and moments I captured with my camera being on the road and mainly from various places I've visited in the UK. In this post, you'll see my trip to the UK from Poland. Hope you will be interested in this adventure 😉 Let's start!
Cracow Airport
Sunday, September of 11th, it's almost 7pm. After two hours of car travel, we reached the airport in Cracow. My first thing in my head was, damn it looks so big! I know there are lots of different airports all over the world even bigger than this one but imagine, 17 year old guy who is in the place like this for the first time, Exciting!
We went inside pretty quickly because we had to be right on time for a „Check-in”. Passports, bag tagging and some safety checks. All that process took around 2 hours until we sat down in the departure lounge and we were able to take a rest. Perfect time to give a phone call to family and to eat something as well.
(Chicken sandwich for only $6.5 😮 The most expensive I have ever seen!)
Meanwhile I was exciting about the price of that sandwich, my friends were checking socials, reading books and talking. It was almost 11 pm when we finally passed the gate. Lots of people going to the same plane, CRAZY!
Little monster is waiting for us!

First Flight - Welcome On A Board
The moment has come, little nervous but also super excited at once. My friend Agnes was so lucky to have a seat next to the window but we both couldn't wait to see everything from the highs. Hearing a variety of languages around my head I was surprised at how many people are flying with us. A few minutes later airplane is going faster and faster, speed is sticking me to the seat, then... Mom, I'm floating or rather Mom, I'm flying! ✈
When the nerves dropped down for a little and blood pressure pumped, I decided to wear my headphones and listen to some music. „Adventure” album by Madeon was so perfect for that moment. I could just relax and admire that beautiful nightlife view.
* I recommend you to listen to that album, especially at night. It's truly fantastic 🎶
(Sorry for a blurry image, my phone isn't taking good images at night)
Hello Birmingham!
Thank God, we are safe and sound. Only one minute to take a fresh breath because we need to go to Stafford. A bus is waiting for us on the other side, but before I cross the road I have to check the left side first, cause it's a right-hand traffic here 😛
Stafford As A New Home For A Two weeks
I think it was around 2 am or 3 am until we reached Stafford. We met two fantastic old women & Fran. They decided we will be living in two different houses. Together with my friend Conrad we were going with Joan to her house and our two other friends went with Fran to her house. We had just a small conversation with Joan. She didn't want to hold us for a long time, she knew we are so tired after such a long traveling. After almost 8 hours I could lie down and fall asleep. It was such a long and tiring day. Goodnight!
Hope you enjoyed reading my memories from the first day of my Trip Around UK. In the next days, I will be posting more memories from that adventure. If you don't want to miss any of the things that happened to me in the UK or if you wonder to see some amazing places I've visited just simply follow me.
* In the next post we will be hanging out around Stafford 🚶 👀 👞
