Assalamu Alaikum. how are you all. I hope everyone is safe by the grace of God. I am also fine Alhamdulillah.I am participating SLC S-30-W2// "Tradional Steam Cooking-Raagi Puttu(Steamed Finger Millet Cake)".Thank you @jyoti-thelight for this Steam Cooking food challenge.

| Sugar | 2 teaspoons |
| Salt | to taste |
| Cardamon | 2 pc |
| Grated fresh coconut | as needed |
Making process
Step- 1

To make rice cake, first gather all the ingredients.First, I put a frying pan on the stove and add a cup of rice flour. Then I fry it on low heat until the rice flour is fluffy.

When the fried rice flour has cooled down a bit, I will take the rice flour in a bowl and add the required amount of salt to it. Then add water little by little and mix it well with my palm. After mixing, when the rice flour becomes like a ball when pressed with my palm, then my dough is finished.

I'll put a steamer on the stove, add some water, and wait until it's hot. When the water boils, I'll steam the fried rice flour in the steamer.

At this stage, I will spread a cloth over the steamer strainer. I will cover this cloth well with fried rice flour. Then I will take this strainer and place it on the steamer. I will now let it steam for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, when the rice flour is steamed, I will remove it from the strainer and place it in a bowl. I will wait for a while for the rice flour to cool down.

To add fragrance to the rice cakes I make, I will crush two cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle.

I will break a coconut in two and grate it with a grater to add to the rice cake.

Now I add cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar and grated coconut to the boiled dough and mix everything well.

Now, I will press this mixture well into a small bowl and fill it. I will transfer it to a plate and keep it like a cake.My rice cake is ready.I served it with banana and
Jaggery syrup.
There are some popular steamed dishes in Bangladesh. Although fast food is becoming more popular among the young generation these days. Steamed dishes are more of a priority as they are healthier.
Some steamed dishes are:-
Bhapa Pitha
Bibi Khana Pitha
Bhapa Hilsa
Bhapa Puli Pitha
Pudding
Momo
Bhapa Dim
Bhapa Cake
Bhapa Shrimp
My favorite steamed dish among the above steamed dishes is Bhapa Hilsa. Hilsa is our national fish. When this Hilsa fish is steamed, its taste and smell remain intact. Moreover, the flavor of mustard paste and green chilies makes the dish incomparable. I have cooked this Bhapa Hilsa several times and I like its taste every time. However, among the steamed dishes, I like Bhapa Puli Pitha the most. It is as easy to make as it is delicious to eat.
