Today is February 21st, International Mother Language Day. In 1952, a movement was held demanding Bengali to be made the state language of East Pakistan. Salam, Rafiq, Jabbar, Barkat and several other students were killed in the movement. We remember this day on February 21st with respect for the language martyrs. After waking up, I freshened up and got ready to go to the morning ferry. The morning ferry would start at 7:30 in the morning. The month of Ramadan was going on, so the roads were quite empty.

St. Placid School and College was decorated very beautifully on the occasion of Ekushey February celebration. When I reached the school, preparations were being made for the morning procession. At exactly 7:30 in the morning, the national flag and the black flag were hoisted along with the national anthem. Then everyone went out for the morning procession towards Shaheed Minar. One by one, teachers and students of each class paid their respects. Then the parents paid their respects.

After paying homage to the martyrs at Shaheed Minar, the cultural program began. The cultural program includes a painting competition for students. My son is in the painting competition, so I have to stay at school for a while. But since my son did not come out after breakfast in the morning, I took him out to get breakfast. Since it was the month of Ramadan, most of the shops were closed. So I came to Sadarghat to get my son breakfast.

After finishing breakfast, I went to school and saw that my son's drawing competition had almost started. So I ran and took my son to the competition hall room. This time the topic of the drawing competition was alphabet for first and second grade. When the drawing was complete, we went home. My son's drawing skills are not mature but I participated in the competition to give my son inspiration.

I came home and freshened up and took a rest for a while. Because I woke up in the morning and went out. After waking up and finishing other cooking including iftar, I went out for a while. To buy some things I needed. RFL Best Buy is a showroom where you can get the necessary things for your family.

After finishing my shopping, I come home from the RFL showroom. Then, when I come home, we all break our fast together. And during the month of Ramadan, it feels different to break our fast together. After finishing our fast, I sit my son down to study for a while. Then I finish cooking Sehri and go to sleep. During the month of Ramadan, I try to go to bed a little earlier so that I can have a peaceful and restful sleep.In anticipation of another new day.
