Hope you all are well. I am new to this platform and I am sharing my another post.
It had been raining heavily since last night. If it rains outside, I don't want to wake up in the morning. So I didn't want to send my son to school today.
My son has his last class before the Eid holidays, so I have to send him to school. Again, today the results of my son's first assessment test will be published. Although my son could not attend the Bengali test, I still have to attend school today to get my son's result card. So I woke up and got my son ready and sent him to school. After my son left for school, the rain had subsided a little, but the sun did not rise like that. I could not see the sun in the sky.
When my son went to school, I had breakfast and finished other chores at home. After finishing the lunch cooking, I went to school to pick up my son. When I went to school, it was not raining, but when I picked up my son, it started raining again.We waited at school for a while for the rain to stop. I bought a light snack for my son from the canteen.
In this rain, I dropped my son home and instead of entering the house, I went out in the pouring rain with an umbrella. I had some necessary work to do at my tailor shop. To finish those chores. After returning home from the tailor shop, I freshened up frist. When I got home, I saw that my husband had bought some lychees when he came home. Today I ate lychees for the first time this year.
Since it was raining outside, I cooked biryani for everyone this afternoon. Eating biryani on a rainy day is incomparable.Biryani is one of my all-time favorite dishes. It seems that the taste of this dish increases even more on rainy days.
After waking up in the afternoon, I wanted to go to the roof for a while. Although there was no need to water the roof plants today because it was raining all day. But it was raining outside, so I could not go to the roof. After Maghrib prayers, we all have evening breakfast together. Then I start teaching my son.
After finishing teaching my son, I will go to prepare dinner. At that moment, one of our sisters-in-law brought us a special "Letka Khichuri" for rainy days. The Khichuri was accompanied by fried chicken and fried eggplant. After dinner, I finished my other night's work and went to sleep. Looking forward to another new day.
