Another Intense Afcon Match Between Egypt & Morocco

The African Cup of nations has been a fun and thrilling journey this particular season. We have seen players that have been unable to fulfill their the demands of the football fans due to high expectation that had been set for them.

We have seen some very surprising results including that of the level where Comoros reached as well as the early eviction of teams like Ghana.

Today's game had so much high expectations and I personally thought it was going to be filled with goals.

Both sides have been quite strong sides throughout the years and also in recent times.

Morocco had played very well in the game in a uniform manner that helped them to eventually get a penalty and convert.

This might have been the drive or push Egypt needed to be able to bring out some impressive plays in the second half.

I loved their persistence and it eventually paid off.

The person who stole the show for me was the beloved Mohamed Salah who gave a beautiful low sweeping pass to Trezeguet who smoothly found the back of the net.

It was quite extraordinary. I wish Egypt the very best of luck in this competition. I hope to see Mo Salah get all the the trophies he can secure in order to get him a decent chance of getting a world best title.
