The largest Krueng Keureutoe Dam in Sumatra

Good afternoon all steemit friends wherever you are, hopefully in the protection of Allah SWT, amen, rabbal Al Amin.
This morning after taking a shower I wanted to go to the Keureutoe reservoir or what is often called the Krueng Keureutoe dam which is visible in Blang Pante village, Paya Bakong sub-district, North Aceh district, Aceh province, Indonesia

The Krueng Keureutoe Dam was first built on March 9 2015 where the first stone was laid directly by President Joko Widodo with a budget of 1.6 trillion and since then.

From then until now we are still working on it but it is almost ready, maybe Hana is counting the months, just insert it.
The frozen water has begun to close

Dams have many important benefits for human life and the environment. Following are some of the main uses of dams:

Dams regulate the water supply to agricultural land, especially during the dry season.

Helps increase agricultural productivity.

4 . Flood Control

Dams collect excess water during the rainy season, thereby reducing the risk of flooding in downstream areas.

5 . Tourism and Recreation

The dam is often a tourist spot, such as fishing, boating or enjoying the view.

Example: Gajah Mungkur Dam in Wonogiri.

6 . Environmental Conservation

Helps create new freshwater ecosystems that provide habitat for fish and other wildlife.

7 . Water reserves during drought

Water stored in the dam can be used as a reserve during dry seasons.

With these benefits, dams are an important infrastructure for sustainable development.
