Swapnapuri, a dreamy recreational world of aesthetic beauty, has been built on about 200 acres of land in Aftabganj of Nawabganj upazila, 52 km south of Dinajpur city.
At the entrance of Swapnapuri, there are two huge fairies with white wings in a stone-built dhabdha as if welcoming the tourists in an enchanting manner. Swapnapuri is a self-contained recreation center. There is an artificial zoo, a zoo for live animals, a park for children, a cradle, a bioscope, etc., with precise sculptures of various domestic and foreign animals, artificial hills, artificial fountains and a vast map of Bangladesh made of brick-cement.

Another attraction of Swapnapuri is the monolova beauty of rows of green fir trees and the beautiful "Nishipadma" situated in the middle of the blooming rose garden on the shores of the vast lake. There are also speedboats and peacock feathers in the huge lake, two horse-drawn tomtoms, a variety of fragrances and beauties and a few flower gardens with clear water fountains and attractive rest houses and post bungalows for relaxation.
