Journy of my life
From person to person, all of our stories vary. it was the time When many of my friends wake up at dawn to study, I leave my home to get a bus.Standing there in the bus stop, when I see the red BRTC bus coming towards me, I myself get prepared for the new journey I must take that day. It delights me to think that I'm going to touch my dream Dhaka Medical College once again which is now longer a dream but reality.
My experiences regarding the journey from Uttara to DMC via Shahbag isn't the same all the time. As I sometime journey with my apron on, it makes people curious. Many a times people had asked for my advice thinking that I'm a doctor. I then have to explain that I'm still a medical student, not yet a doctor. But an incident touched my heart one day. That day I had an extra bag with me loaded with heavy books. I was finding it very hard to carry it. Then suddenly out of nowhere a man came, greeted me with salam and helped me get the bag on the bus. Maybe he mistook me for a doctor. The respect our society shows towards us is really amazing.
On the other hand, the journey can be bitter too. I have to take the road knowing there will be traffic jams. It's unimaginable that there won't be any traffic in my return journey to home. But except exam times or emergency situations, I don't stay at the hostel much. There is only one reason behind enduring this daily nuisance - to enjoy the company of my parents and little sister, to have dinner with them and spend sometime in their presence. Our life spans are rather short. So to be with the ones you love is worth all the pain in the world.
