Come and Get Inspired at the "London Illustration Fair"

Last night, I was thrilled to be invited by my friend to join the launch party of the London Illustration Fair. This is London’s best contemporary art fair, packed full of different types of art, graphics and creativity culture.

Arriving at the Oxo Bargehouse building, it looked more like an industrial style old warehouse from outside, fitting the “art” theme perfectly.

The London Illustration Fair is spread across each floor, containing all things illustration, printmaking and design orientated. The place was full of talented illustrators and designers from across the country selling their wares and showcasing their work. Each artist you meet has some unique artwork to showcase, making the whole event truly inspirational.

The atmosphere was fun and full of energy. There are also several activities and workshops to engaging with visitors. I took part in one of the workshops regarding screen printing and was ultimately able to print a canvas bag under the diligent instructions from the artist, which was super cool!

This exciting illustration, print and graphic design fair helps bring artists and buyers together, offering an opportunity for illustration lovers to meet their favourite artists as well as showcasing the creativity of emerging young illustrators! I would recommend everyone come and get inspired!
