Add preview feature and ability to play audio file on screenlock on vlc media player

Vlc media player is an amazing app that has some great features but lacks a preview feature and play audio on screenlock feature, which is a problem to it users.

Suggestion:
Preview feature gives an idea about the particular file you're about to view by displaying all the video files in the folder, and this feature should only have an effect on video files. So, I suggest that open source should add this feature to vlc media player.
Play audio files on screenlock feature should also be added to vlc media player because it will help the device owner to access audio file on screenlock. I suggest that open source should program this feature in a way that once the device power on/off button is pushed, the player will appear on the screenlock with few audio playing features
which includes:
a. previous and next button
b. play and pause button
c. volume button
d. minimize button
e. random button...etc

Benefits:
Preview feature will help it users to preview and easily identify the particular file they are looking for, by displaying few thumbnails of all the video files on the folder.
