Diversity, as what Merriam-Webster dictionary defines, is the quality or state of having many different forms, types, ideas, etc. Our society is so diverse, so as our own ideas which is so conflicting in a sense that we can never solve it, in our own capacity to solve things, unless one standard is set that may unify all the differences, without trespassing the sacredness of others.

A great difference can be seen outside
But greater diversity can be felt inside
When you see these things and approve them to be true
You'll find the great depravity of me and you

Outside are the difference in laws and ethics
Morality is changing, so as the clerics
The truth that was written in the block of stone
Has slowly been twisted to fit in man's passion

Men seeking praises for the contentment of their heart
Showing vain remarks to exalt their part
Show their fake compassion for justice of slain
But approves abortion with no remorse for the sin

From the depths of your own heart
You'll see the maze in your part
Like wanting marriage to be honored
But in covetousness take part

How diverse, how diverse, this life we're in
Wherever we look seems tainted with sin
The conflict of ideas in which mankind has set
Can't be solved by our capacity as hard as it gets

We just had a class yesterday on repetition I think this poem does a great job in showing how repetition can be used effectively.

Oh, thanks for the appreciation @acousticsteveo! It adds an emphasis to the idea. Quite handy.
