Achievement 3 Task Content Etiquette @rehan1
Assalamualaikum
Greetings to all of you Steemians whom I love. Indeed today my heart is full of joy which is a sign of happiness for me and I am sure that you also feel the same with your loved ones. Today I am here once again to talk about my achievement 3 which is based on the theme: "Content Etiquette". In this task I have discussed about plagiarism and its types. Without wasting much time let's start.
What is Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a type of theft that can occur in many aspects, there may be artistic plagiarism referring to paintings and songs and works, among others, literary information plagiarism such as taking writings from other authors and submitting them as our own. .
This scourge has always existed and is condemned as plagiarism, in the sense of referring to our Steemit platform, we are rewarded for using our brains to create quality content, by taking something from other authors or colleagues we will steal their ideas that are on our platform. is a very cursed thing.
Types of Plagiarism
Direct Plagiarism
Mosaic Plagiarism
Self Plagiarism
Accidental Plagiarism
Direct Plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is the most common type of plagiarism which involves adopting a part of another author's writing without citing the exact source of the writing. In this type of plagiarism, the copyist copies the text and makes use of it without changing a single word of the copy. Although, in some cases, the plagiarist may make slight changes to some sentences or replace some words using his own understanding.
Mosaic Plagiarism
This is a type of plagiarism that occurs when an author borrows a phrase or part of a sentence from a certain source without using quotes or makes some changes to the content that would make the post look like the original owner. As a Steemians, you have to be very careful with this type of plagiarism.
Self Plagiarism
Self-plagiarism is another type of plagiarism that is more common among content creators, even in our various high schools, where you will see most students copy and paste parts of their previously submitted work. Here on Steemit you will see Steemians republishing their previous work without providing a proper citation.
Accidental Plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism is a type of plagiarism that occurs when the person who commits plagiarism misquotes some part of the text or phrase that he took from the source without citing the work correctly or using the wrong source to cite the work.
AVOID PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism can be avoided and controlled regardless of whether you are writing an article, thesis, or content for sale.
USE OF PLAGIARISM CHECKER
One of the best ways to avoid plagiarism is to use a plagiarism checker. Today, there are many free and paid online plagiarism checkers that can help you submit unique work or ideas. Some of the most widely used online tools for checking plagiarism include grammar and copyscape. One can choose to use the standard version or the premium version which is done with a monthly or yearly subscription.
CITING SOURCES
When researching a particular topic of interest, it is important to mention the source from which you obtained the information. Make a list that shows all the citations from an article, book, magazine, or website.
Summary
In short, I can say that plagiarism is theft and should be strictly prohibited in the country in general, as it is prohibited in the Steemit ecosystem. The human brain is the most powerful and complex computer that has ever existed. It's like a muscle, and the way to train it is to think, be creative, etc. The more you engage in it, the better off you become. While plagiarism clogs our brains, deprives us of creativity, we must avoid plagiarism.
