Money Heist || Want to rob some GOLD & State Secrets!!

The internet have been exploding for the past few days by the talks of Money Heist. I am honestly surprised with what is actually happening. Money heist season one has been released on May 2, 2017 but compared to the buzzing which is happening atm is quite an achievement from the plot of the TV series.

Money Heist is one of the most successful TV series of Netflix. The show also received the International Emmy for Best Drama Series in 2018. The reason that it came into limelight is probably because of its genre. Even though it is considered thriller crime drama but some are even adding the name of romanticism in this series. on April 3, 2020 Netflix released the latest eight episodes (season 4) of this series all at once. Which completely blew the mind of audience and the reason many of us are hearing a lot of about it is because of its release timing and well almost 90% of the world is in lockdown and are looking into internet like crazy. What better way than to release something as exciting as Money Heist in this moment.

Let me share my pov regarding the last season. If you have not watched the previous 3 seasons nothing will make sense to you. So please watch those and probably come back here again and if not just enjoy but there will be little spoilers along the way. So go ahead with your own risk!

Little run down of the story. The Professor/ Sergio Marquina (Alvaro Morte) is the key player of this series, he gathered robbers to rob the Royal Mint of Spain in season one and two and in season 3 it was the Bank of Spain. The thrill and mystery goes on from the very beginning of the story. It is like those series where you will be able to finish it watching in one sitting. Where, at every end of an episode, will keep you in dark about what will happen in the next one? The thrill will bound you to watch the next episode (at least it happened to me).

Since I am sharing my thoughts about season 4, you may have different thoughts regarding this whole series. Do not get hasty about my words please.

The season 3 ended with Raquel being caught by the police and they were able to convince the Professor that she was shot during the capture of hers. While in season 4, slowly the dust tends to settle. The professor starts to come in his senses and starts to execute his plans with his crew. Even though they started to take hostages and eventually gain access to the gold of the bank and the state secrets few incidents happened which really made them think otherwise about the plan. Bummer, one of the crew dies! I warned you about spoilers!

Since the plan was to get the gold out from the bank of Spain, along with the dirty secrets of the state there were major incidents which made the crew inside the bank fall apart but with professors work of art and the crews support situation was coming under control. While the season 4 ended with just a nuisance once again. The police officer who was negotiating with the professor, she gets caught within the web of professor and gets removed from the case of theirs and by doing her due diligence she gets to catch professor and that remains a mystery what happens after that.

This is why I tend to stay away from series which are incomplete. This waiting period is somehow annoying and not really effective as we speak. But I suppose Netflix will not really let us down like the previous season. Looking forward to the next season of Money Heist.

In addition to that, if I have to give my personal rating about this series (especially season 3-4) I would give it a 8/10. And an all time highest rating on this genre goes to PRISON BREAK. If you have time and are planning to watch something for the next few days, you may as well keep them both in your watch list.Cheers !
