Greetings Steemit Family

It is my pleasure to present my first report as the country representative of Nigeria here on Steemit. This is a responsibility I have taken upon myself to mentor, educate and promote Steemit in Nigeria. The report will include my activities here on Steemit over the past 7 days and I will try as much as possible to section it for proper understanding.

My Activities Over the Past Week

Activities As Admin Steem4nigeria

Over the past week, I have been engaging in several activities here on Steemit with a focus on the growth and support of Nigerians. As a CR and Admin of the Steem4nigeria community, I try as much as possible to track the activities of Nigerians while supporting their articles with my personal account and also the official account of Steem4nigeria.

During this process of curation, I take my time to investigate some of the accounts and check for possible farming and fake accounts. To be able to keep track of the activities of Nigerians, we encourage our users to always include the country tag #nigeria in their publications. This way, the CR can be able to follow this tag and keep our users under our radar.

Currently, I’m in charge of curation with the official Steem4nigeria account. I try as much as possible to support every article posted in the community after verification and also follow the #nigeria tag to support Nigerians posting outside our community.

In the last 7 days, we have given 130 Upvotes to 72 Nigerian users. We try as much as possible to visit every article posted in and outside the community while still keeping the account voting power of the account.

Aside from supporting our users with the community account, I also support using my account by tracking the country tag. This also helps to monitor the activities of Nigerians active on Steemit. Below is the voting CSI of my personal account.

Engagement Activities

We have to engage the users in the community through contests and promotion activities. Every week, we come up with a contest to engage our users to be active on Steemit. We have contests ongoing in the community and I hosted the recent one yesterday. The contest aimed at engaging the users to discuss the current instabilities in the country.

Aside from the contest, I have also been part of the sponsors of the ongoing power-up promotion contest hosted by @ngoenyi. This project aims at encouraging users to power up and grow their Steem power to be relevant to both the community and Steemit. Users are rewarded with delegations which I have supported with 1500 SP in delegation. I will continue to support this program for as long as it continues to run.

My activities are not limited to the Steem4nigeria community. I remain a professor and MOD in Steemit Crypto Academy where I host contests and review contest entries for the engagement challenge.

Also, I carry out a cryptocurrency report and outlook every week which includes a technical analysis of the crypto market. The analysis aims to enlighten users on the current state of the market and also guide them to make good investment decisions. You can find the link to the recent report using the link : Cryptocurrency Market Weekly Report - Technical Review

Conclusion

This is my activity over the past week. My plans as the CR is to keep track of all the activities of Nigerians on Steemit and also support their publications. Looking out for farming and fake accounts remains a priority as the CR. I look forward to working hard to meet the objectives of the position given to me.
