Weekly Report As a Country Representative of Nigeria [ 8th - 14th August]
Hello Steemians, welcome to my weekly report as a country representative from Nigeria. This report contains my activities and engagements here on Steemit over the past 7 days. It is an honor to represent my country to support Nigerians and promote Steemit in Nigeria.
My Activities
As Steem4nigeria Admin
I'm one of the founding members of the Steem4nigeria community. A community that was created to unite Nigerians on Steemit. Also, I take the role of the community curator where I review and support publications within the community and outside the community.
The Steem4nigeria account currently has an effective Sp of 21.4k with 4k Sp and 17.3k delegated Sp. Over the past 7days, we have supported 77 Nigerians in their publications. The voting CSI of the community account is 15.6.
Aside from the curation, I still play a role to filter plagiarised and farming accounts on the platform. Last week, I was able to filter some plagiarised content posted in the community during curation. New users were mentored and advised to complete up to achievement 3 task to have good knowledge of plagiarism and its implication on Steemit. Older members are being warned and have been added to the community watchlist.
Also, a suspected farming account was filtered in the community. The users involved were contacted and investigated by the CRs for Nigeria. A conclusion was reached and users were instructed to continue blogging while we keep an eye on both accounts. As a country representative of Nigeria, I must monitor the activities of Nigerians on Steemit by following the #nigeria tag.
Engagement
Earlier this week, I concluded a contest I hosted last week in the Steem4nigeria community. The content theme is Instabilities in my country. A good number of users participated in the contest. The contest summary was published and winners were rewarded in Steem.
During the week, I attended a meeting with my fellow CRs from Nigeria. This is the first meet-up after assuming the role of CR. The meeting aims to discuss the way forward and make strategic plans on how to promote Steemit in Nigeria and also how to coordinate and unite Nigerians on Steemit. At the end of the meeting, an agenda was drafted out which will be discussed in the meeting.
To engage users in the community, I have just published a contest in the Steem4nigeria community with a prize pool of 12 Steem. The contest theme is My Experience on Steemit and Plans to Contribute to its Growth. Users are expected to discuss their experience so far in Steemit and also their plans to promote Steemit in their country. The contest will run until 21st August 2022.
I remain committed to supporting and promoting projects that will contribute to the growth of Steemit and also Nigerians. I remain one of the sponsors of the Steemgrowth project hosted by @ngoenyi with a delegation of 1000 sp. This is an encouragement to enable members to power up and build their sp for community development.
My growth on Steemit
Currently, I own 18.23k sp and will be 4x dolphin in no time. I have used this Steem power to upvote quality content and support users. In the last 7 days, I have supported 73 accounts and my voting CSI is 15.3. I will keep improving this value by supporting more users on the platform with preference given to Nigerians. I have powered up my entire earnings in the last 2months with the aim of joining #club100.
Also, I remain active on Steemit sharing my daily activities with the diary game articles. I also review the crypto market to enlighten users on the current situation of the market to make good investment decisions.
Aside from the activities mentioned, I remain a professor and MOD in the Steemit Crypto Academy where I review the crypto academy contest for the Steemit Engagement Challenge.
These are my activities on Steemit in the last 7 days as the country representative from Nigeria.
Regards,
@reminiscence01
You have been actively involved in the running of the country's community over the previous days and have adequately supported Nigerians.
The new contest you have hosted would definitely receive a good number of entries, I guess users have their favorite side to pick from the list. Great report and well done, @reminiscence01.
Thank you, brother. Sometimes contest like this needs to be organized to give users the opportunity to express themselves. This is a kind of feedback to help improve the platform.
Nice article keep it up boss
