Android Choice Screen — Mass Adoption for Presearch - Medium/PreSearch

I've been using PreSearch as my primary search engine for three or four years, so I'm definitely happy to see this. Their decentralized search still depends on data from the big players, but they have announced plans to change that. Personally, I'm waiting for one of two things in the cryptocurrency search space: (i) PreSearch gets their search fully decentralized and independent; or (ii) Brave Search starts sharing advertising revenue with its search users. Still, the potential for mass adoption here is good for PreSearch and good for cryptocurrency, in general.
Today we announce that Presearch is listed by Google as a default search engine option on all new and factory-reset Android devices across the U.K. and Europe. With hundreds of millions of devices sold each year, nearly 70% of smartphone owners in Europe use Android’s operating system. With Android running on about 80% of the world’s smartphones, including hundreds of millions in Europe, we see this as a huge win in taking decentralized services and blockchain mainstream and driving mass adoption. With potentially hundreds of millions of users just a click away on the Search Choice screen, this is one of the biggest wins for mainstream adoption for any project within the crypto space, and a huge opportunity to gain exposure for Presearch’s private, decentralized search experience.

This is great news for our privacy. Meanwhile, Google is paying $15 Billion to remain the default search engine on iPhones, iPads and Macs.
Interesting. Thanks for the comment. That's from July of 2020. I wonder if there have been any changes since then. I have never owned an Apple, so I don't pay a whole lot of attention to news about it.
It is a good option as a search engine, and the best thing is that it rewards you for using it. The important thing is that this search engine continues to improve, so that it can keep up with its competitors.
As my PreSearch account has been inactive for over 1 year, so my total balance has become 0. Please let me know if anyone knows any way to restore the previous balance.
The same thing happened to @rakib505. This is the first time I ever heard of it, so I don't know if there's any way to recover the expired rewards. The only thing I can suggest trying would be to email support -at- presearch.io.
I used brave search for some days. But i faced some problems their. So i left it.
I am keeping my eye on Brave Search, but haven't used it much. If they can repeat what they did with the browser, I do think that it'll be a good choice in the long term. Until they start sharing advertising revenue with searchers, however, I'm probably going to stick with PRE.
I didn't knew about presearch. But i know now. I will focus an eye on this search engine. If it gives me much opportunities, i will go to it.
Presearch is really a great way to earn some crypto by searching. I used to use this extension on my browser.
Sadly I have lost my all PRE due to inactivity. But I will try to make some new PRE token after reading this blog.
Wow, I didn't know there was an expiration date on claiming tokens. Now I'm glad I moved most of mine out to another wallet. I do use it just about daily, though, so I guess they won't ding me for inactivity.
I was inactive for 2 years and when I logged in my account there was zero PRE. Please take a look here.
