Giving Thanks For A Steemian With An Unstoppable Spirit ~ @girlbeforemirror
Our relationships are a part of our portfolio of wealth and abundance. So nurture the relationships you have with those that are close to you. Accept them for who they are, don't try to change them, don't preach to them and don't judge them.
But as a friend as much as possible take the time to show up and be there for them and give to your friends before they ask which is easy to do when you have a true bond in your relationships.
It is a given that you feel the rhythm and flow of where the friends and relations close to you are. Oftentimes you can feel when something is not right.
As we get older one of the thing we begin to reflect back on the most is the people in our lives and the kind of relationships we had and the question may surface "Did I do all I could to sustain my friendships and Did I love enough?"
I believe it was in one of the Poetry Dice Challenges that I first met her. She stood out because she not only was outspoken and very friendly but her poems were always telling, and always so profound. Soon we formed a friendship that has bonded into a sisterhood. I respect and love her deeply. And as I am sure many will agree she is a bright light on the Steemit Platform.

You have made my life so much richer
All my life I have been through friendships that were oh so right
And then somehow they spiraled down and ended.
Throughout the years I have longed for sisterhood and friendship.
Someone who I can be myself with share my secrets and most intimate thoughts with
Share in full detail what's on my mind and then finally you arrived
As that Sister and Friend so very true.
I feel your Spirit and Your heart across the water
The miles are only an illusionary dream.
I will continue to show up and do my part.
Know that I am here, near, reach out when you need to
Call or let's do snail mail and do penpal things.
Whatever it takes to make your heart sing
Whatever my beautiful heaven-sent friend that it takes
Know that I am here/there, though seemingly invisible
Throughout your worst and best of days,
Throughout the times and years, we will share.

I have had a successful trip, and am glad I made the journey. I feel like I have some options and some renewed hope.
Thank you for bolstering my strength, and thank you to everyone on steemit who had helped me so very much, through a very difficult time.
These past years I have had the opportunity through adverse circumstances to reengage with some creative aspects of myself, and discover new ones too . Writing, particularly creative writing is something I discovered when other parts of myself felt lost. Maybe I do have to relinquish some parts of myself, but I have gained new avenues too, and for that I am indebted to ren and my other mentors and muses on steemit. Xxxxxxxxx

As I was putting this tribute post about you together I was guided to take some time to look at your page/blog, which is rich because
(2) The resteems are for me inspirational because it stretches my mind to want to do more than just poetry and curation. I want to do needlework which I do know how to do (I can crochet a beanie hat in an hour) and it makes me want to do abstract art or launch another of my gifts which is time consuming but I am good at it and that is word art/calligraphy. (3.) It is inspiring to see the other doors of opportunity that have opened for you just on this platform as you engage in doing a variety of different projects and you do them well.
By way of your actions amongst all of us on the platform that you connect with you stand tall, very tall as an inspirational guide, someone easy to talk to and connect with and as an Incredible Muse which you are to me. Love You To The Moon And Back. ~ Forever... Ren

This is such a beautiful post in honor of an incredible woman. I am amazed at how deeply we can touch each other when we are vulnerable and real, and share ourselves on levels we haven' t before. I love hearing your appreciation for @girlbeforemirror.
