Garden visit with Family

I hope everything is going well for you. This blog post features my mother, my brother, and me visiting Bangalore's "LALBAGH BOTONICAL GARDEN." We visited there on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

We had intended to begin our journey after lunch, but due to the cab we had reserved for the garden, we were forced to begin our journey at 5 pm instead. By the time we arrived at the garden at 5.30 p.m., it was very cloudy, and I believed it was the wrong time of day to visit.

The garden is a large, well-kept, lovely garden in the middle of the city, covering 240 acres and home to more than 2000 different kinds of plants and trees. I understood then why Bangalore is referred to be the "Garden city of INDIA." I observed several flora and trees.

When my brother and I last visited this garden a few months ago, it was summer and we arrived in the morning, so we explored many different areas of the garden. Now, however, things are different because we arrived at the garden after 5.30 p.m., and the best part is that it has started to rain. haha

When we arrived at the garden, I immediately purchased the Rs 30 per person entry ticket. I even told my mother that I would be cooking for the dinner. My mother knows that I always do half the work and call her for additional help in the kitchen, so she gently hit my head and said, "Please don't talk like you cook like a pro and starve us for good food for dinner." My mother started to nag us from the start that it is a big garden and she doesn't want to walk, but we encouraged her to walk.

We arrived at the "Floral Clock," a big clock carved out of the earth, with some amusing conversations. We shot some pictures there, then when rain began to fall, we went inside the "Glass House" for cover. A large group of people had collected there as well, seeking shelter from the rain.

We sat there in the "Glass House" for over 30 minutes as we munched on some snacks and took in the view of the soggy garden.

After a while, the rain started to become drizzling, so we continued walking through it until we arrived at the location of the "Tree Statues." We were amazed at how the trees were carved into these statues; they looked too good to be true. Next, we arrived at the "Bonsai Garden," but it was closed due to the time.

When we finally arrived at the "Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar" statue, the surroundings were breathtaking and the statue appeared majestic. The bronze statue of "Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar," the Mysorean king who ruled the country from 1869 to 1894, is located in the west gate.

When it got dark outside, we left the garden and took a cab to get home. We were all very exhausted when we got there, so I placed an order for lunch from a nearby hotel.

The family vacation to the "LALBAGH BOTONICAL GARDEN" was enjoyable overall, even though my mother's age prevents her from walking far. Despite this, she loved the scenery and the natural surroundings. With my family, I'll go to more stunning locations in the future.
