Starting the story with the life of a shepherd I met. This shepherd's job is to graze the cows, feed and water the animals, and look after the animals from morning to evening. He has many cows, taking care of them properly, whether they are harming others, looking after them where they are lost, moreover, he inspires each of his cows to come to him through such activities. The Shepherd has developed through his work in such a way that they seem different to him. Being a child of a generally poor family, he did not get much opportunity for education, so he chose this job like other family members. Although this job is not so bad because it plays a big role in meeting the needs of others instead of meeting one's own needs. Even though he was very old when kept, this work kept him healthy. I asked the herdsman are you still working at this age and the herdsman told me that many people at my age who stay at home have many diseases but I am still healthy because of my hard work.

He also tells me in the middle of the story that shepherds don't just take care of other cows, they also try to keep some of their own because that's how they can survive. Nowadays shepherds are not seen so much now only those who have a few cows go to the fields and graze on such grass. The shepherd said that this work is a lot of work because sometimes the cows become angry and it is very difficult to handle them. The shepherd also said that at one time shepherds were in great demand as they were attached to various activities. Rachata bansi baja used to perform various ceremonies but now they are lost. While talking like this, he reached the bank of the river and the shepherd went to the river to cross the river. I felt them from standing by the river.

Shepherds were an integral part of rural Bengal. Their lives and works are an integral part of the culture of rural Bengal. Although shepherds have dwindled in modern times, they will always be remembered.
