14,986 Tourists Vacation in Sabang City, Aceh.

A total of 14,986 tourists crossed to Sabang Island, Aceh Province, during the 1446 Hijri Eid holiday period. The majority of tourists who crossed to Sabang Island came from outside Aceh Province.

The Head of the Aceh Transportation Agency (Kadishub), T. Faisal, told several media crews that the increase in the number of tourists heading to Sabang had been seen since several days before and after Eid al-Fitr.

"Passenger movement data during the 2025 Eid holiday period, recorded 14,986 sea and ferry passenger movements from Ulee Lheue Port to Balohan Sabang Port during the period from March 21 to April 2, 2025," said Faisal, Saturday, April 5, 2025.
