¿How is your attitude towards adversity?
Today I base my reflection on the attitude we have towards life when we go through adversities. And I want to argue this reflection based on the book of John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have affliction; but trust, I have overcome the world."

we can have many sorrows and trials in the world but the Lord is telling us in his word: cheer up and cheer up because I have defeated the world every time he has risen against me, because if they do it with you they also do it against me.
Today these words must fill us with joy and hope because although it is true that we cannot prevent tribulations it is also true that we have a God who sustains us who cares for us and does not leave us alone in the process.

As we can read in this verse the Lord Jesus never told us that we would not go through difficulties or that we would never have afflictions, on the contrary he gave us the guidelines for when this happened we were prepared.
He is preparing us in advance as the best psychologist we have and he tells us after a series of reflections: all this I tell you when the storm comes you can have confidence and peace in me, because in the world you all will suffer afflictions But don't worry, be confident because I have defeated the world and there is no one above me.
In that order of ideas I can say that The word of God encourages us to stand up and put our eyes on the eternal God and trust above adversities, because obviously we are going to have problems, but the important thing about this is our attitude towards adversities.
I say this, because there are many people who, in difficult times, stop believing in God, because they take negative attitudes towards difficulties and separate themselves from God because they believe that everything has to be positive in their life, but we already know from the word that It is not like this.
You imagine if the men of God who have made history since ancient times had taken the negative attitude and turned away from God. What would have happened, in the purpose and destiny that God had for them? Today we could see a Josue a and a defeated Caleb without looking at the promised land or we could see a Joseph frustrated that his dreams were dead or maybe no one could have achieved salvation.
Brothers the attitude to adversity is what makes the difference
Can you imagine a defeated David in the presence of the giant who was troubled the people of God? If David had not understood that this giant giant was not greater than God, David could never defeat him, for he knew there was an adversity but there was also someone greater than adversity, who had promised to be with us until the end of the world. .
And how do you act in the face of adversity?
I leave this reflection so that we can self-evaluate and reflect on these words that Jesus said: "In the world you will have affliction; but trust, I have overcome the world."
BLESSINGS!!

God bless you beloved, we must keep faith and peace in God, no matter the problem
Maintaining our trust in God is very important and more in the middle of a test
Jesus defeated the world and defeated the forces of darkness that incite us to the sinful things of the world. All the adversities and afflictions Jesus experienced in his body and led them captive to the Cross to give us victory over the world. The victory that conquers the world is our faith in Christ Jesus. Blessings @ ricci01. Interesting reflection.
Blessings, God has not given us spirit of cowardice, but of love, power and self-control
