“A New MINECRAFT Video (Finally) AND an Update on the New Book!!!” by Richard F. Yates
[A photo I took of our 14 year old cat. She's a weirdo!]
Howdy Cowboys and Cowgirls! Today, I finally had a chance to make a new MINECRAFT video. I hadn’t posted a new one of those since November 25th! That’s creeping towards a month ago... (And although I’m a fan of creeping, I’m not a fan of NON-PRODUCTIVE creeping! CREEP FOR A CAUSE, I say!) I explain most of what this episode is about in the show notes, so I’ll defer to those for info, instead of repeating myself. Meanwhile, here’s the video:
A Grandpa Plays MINECRAFT - Day 0012!
BACK, after several weeks off!!! I wasn't being lazy during that time away, as I mention in the video, but still...it's good to be back! This is a DOUBLE FEATURE episode, starting with a glimpse at my super-fancy "I Suck at This-ville" world, which I've been building for several months as an art project. I take you folks on a quick tour of the city, including a ride around the whole place in a mine cart---and I'm probably the FIRST PERSON to ever do that in a Minecraft video! For the second feature, we return to "Weirdo Zone!" and I go digging FOR ADVENTURE! THRILLS!!!!!
Here are this week's LINKS!
1. GOOFY GALS CRAFTS! (My fabulous, funtastic sponsors---who are also my wife and two daughters! They make fancy stuff that people love to have and hold!) https://www.facebook.com/Goofy-Gals-Crafts-101484207933657/
2. My Daily STEEMIT.COM blog!!! (Every single day, it's something new! A drawing, a photo, a story, or---perhaps---a MINECRAFT video! Always something new and exciting happening on the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN!) https://steemit.com/@richardfyates
3. NEW BOOK! (ALLEN TOMBES - FIRE FROM WATER! As I mention in the video, I have recently completed an urban fantasy / monster novella that I've been working on for a couple of years! If you like mythology, magic, action, horror, and MONSTERS, then this is the book for you!!! Available in paperback for ten bucks OR digital for only three U.S. dollars!!!) Paperback: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1674982453 Digital: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082PP5WW4
4. Primitive Sound System - Exhibit 001 - Video Slide Show! (This is a 22 minute long podcast that I originally posted on DSound. I eventually, after WAAAAY TOO LONG working on the slideshow, which ended up including over 400 images!, I posted the video version on the YoooToobs! This project took a LOT of work, so I'm hoping that at least a FEW people will give it a look! I'm proud of the artwork, and I think the audio is pretty funny, too!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLq-3MerLFk
There we go! That's it for this week! We'll see you again, as soon as I get a chance to do more MINECRAFTING! Later!

I’m not sure how many of you EAGLE-EYED readers spotted it in the notes above, but the PAPERBACK version of my book Allen Tombes – Fire from Water is finally available, along with the digital version! I’m pretty excited by this book. It took me several years to write, edit, and finally publish the dang thing, but now that it’s done, it feels like all that work was worth it! AND, a few people have already bought digital copies, which is awesome! (I’m not sure if it was STEEMIANS who bought or not, but I’ll take a gamble and say it probably was! THANKS!!! The support is MASSIVELY APPRECIATED!)
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the book, yet, here are the links to the two versions currently available:

If urban fantasy / horror / monster stories aren’t your thing, I have ELEVEN OTHER BOOKS available, right now, that I’ve published, either as writer / artist or as editor! Check out those other books HERE! I love making books, and it’s a lot easier than most people think---although it really does help if you have an EDITOR look your manuscript over before you set it loose upon the world! I AM an editor, and I still had several people look over my most recent book before I released it to the public. But, that said, I don’t see any reason why everyone doesn’t write books all the time. Your life is uniquely your own, the stories you can tell couldn’t be told by anyone else---and if you’re making books just for yourself or your family and friends, and you don’t really care if they’re going to be SMASH BESTSELLERS, then self-publishing is a pretty cool method. I would definitely recommend it!
Okay. Now I’m off to pay the water bill! Later!!!
