Since 2000, the President of the United States has never attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. This time, US President Donald Trump, who missed last year, attended the WEF by explaining his First America policy.

Trump warns other countries not to "exploit" other countries on behalf of the trade. "The United States will no longer turn a blind eye to unfair trade practices We can not engage in free and open trade if some countries exploit the system at the expense of others,"

Not only that, Trump also reminded the importance of leaders prioritize his country. According to Trump, every leader must first help his people in taking care of a "forgotten" need. Instead of working with other countries through a fair free trade, then a strong American economy will lift other countries.

In his speech, Trump wanted to create a friendly business environment in the United States, partly driven by massive corporate tax cuts. This is his government's attempt to reduce business rules.

"Now is a good time to bring your business, work and investment to the United States," Trump told political and business leaders in Davos.

Trump's speech seems to answer the "scorn" of French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel who say protectionism is not the right answer, even if they do not name Trump.

Trump then raised his eyebrows as he talked about the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade. He said he would reconsider the TPP deal if the US gets a much better chance. Last year, Trump resigned from the deal because the TPP assesses the harm to the country.

"I will do the TPP if we can do a much better deal The deal is terrible The trick is very poorly structured If we do a much better deal, I will be open to TPP," he told CNBC. The TPP deal involves the United States, one of which is the initiation of its predecessor Trump, Barack Obama.

Following Trump's remarks, US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told CNBC that Trump chose a bilateral trade deal. But he said his boss would "consider" a multilateral deal if there is a good arrangement for the United States.
