Betterlife - The Diary Game

The biggest festival of Muslims Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated today in our country. This festival is celebrated a day earlier or later in different countries of the world based on the movement of moon. The rule of fasting for a long 1 month in order to gain the satisfaction of the creator ended with the festival of Eid.

I woke up at 6 in the morning and dressed in my new Punjabi and went to our local mosque to offer Eid prayers. After finishing namaz there, I first greeted my father and mother and took dua from them. Most of my Eids are spent with my brothers and cousins.

We all took many pictures because I want to keep this joy of Eid as a memory. Then we first went to our neighbors' houses to exchange greetings with them. In other times we don't go to neighbor's house frequently, but on the occasion of Eid, today I went to all neighbor's house with my cousins and exchanged Eid greetings with them.

After celebrating with the surroundings, now it's time to go to the house of our distant relatives. Each of my relative's houses are at different distances which take a lot of time to reach by local transportation so for convenience I took a car on rent for the whole day.

I noticed that the weather today was a bit hot but people braved the heat and came out of their houses to visit their relatives. I first went to my maternal grandmother's house. Then from there I went to my 2 aunt's house.

I am very happy to meet everyone on the occasion of Eid. Another specialty of this day is the variety of food items prepared in every single house. I enjoyed several dishes at my relatives house which were very tasty.

It was almost afternoon when I visited all my relatives on Eid and I returned home early because we had guests coming to our house and I helped my mother to take care of them.

After the guests left our house I took a short rest after cleaning all the crocarises and dining table.

After that I relaxed and started watching the IPL game on TV. I like cricket very much and every match of IPL tournament is very exciting.

After the match I had dinner. My Eid day was spent very well and happily. Eid celebrations last for 3 days so there are still two days left in which I want to visit some places. Anyway, Eid Mubarak to all members of Steem community. Enjoy Eid with your family.
