Business Review: Wedding Decoration Business

Decorations play a very important role in completing a wedding arrangement. The atmosphere of the wedding house looks more attractive through beautiful decorations. Especially the wedding decorations in the rural areas are organized very splendidly. Wedding decorations are one of the biggest expenses for a wedding ceremony. Because the more beautiful it is, the more magnificent the wedding atmosphere will be.

My father has his own wedding decoration business. Apart from other businesses, my father has been in the wedding decoration business for the past 10 years. Although the profit in this business is quite reasonable, there is no loss in this business. So without further delay I will share our family business activity experience with you through this post.

This is our godown. The curtains which are used for decoration are arranged in the iron showcase. Also in the picture you can see plastic plates, glasses and jugs. We rent these for wedding ceremonies. Separate fare is charged for each glass, plate and jug.

The amount of cookware items required for a wedding depends on the number of guests invited to the wedding. In those weddings where food is arranged for more people, cookware items are required in large quantities. These cookware items are required in large quantities to prepare food for the people who come to the wedding house.

Then different types of colorful curtains are used to decorate the wedding house beautifully. Our shop has many types of curtains and they are of different sizes. We use big side cloth based on the wedding spot. Each side cloth here is around 100-300 square feet. A wedding spot can be easily decorated with two such curtains. I have mentioned the price of each plate, glass, jug and curtain for your convenience.

A lot of people come to a wedding. Especially those who have a lot of relatives, friends and have a lot of people in their weddings. That's why we offer chairs in our wedding decoration business. One person can sit on each chair. Moreover, these are plastic chairs that hurt a lot, they don't break. Their rent is very reasonable. We rent a minimum of 100 chairs. If less than this amount of chairs are rented, we have to pay in advance. Below I mentioned the rent list of chairs:

These are food tables and pots. Many people are invited to the wedding house. Big pot is needed to provide them with food. But it is never possible to cook so many people in a small pan. That's why large pans are needed that can cook for many people at once. We have placed large vases and dining tables in our wedding decoration business. These dining tables can seat 6 people together. And the pans that I have given the pictures are of different sizes. The biggest pans can cook food for about 200 people with one pan. Below I have mentioned the fare according to the size of the pant.

These are tissue cloths. Now people are very modern so they use different designs and tissue fabrics to beautify their wedding ceremonies. These tissue cloths take wedding decoration design to another level. We have different colors of this tissue cloth. Various designs can be made with them. We do the designs that customers order from us through our employees.

If the fabrics are too soft and pulled too hard, they tear. Besides, we have other types of curtains like certin fabrics, party fabrics, georgette fabrics. We use these fabrics in designing wedding decorations. Below I have mentioned the price rent of the clothes:

Our Whole Expenses

After gaining some experience in this business of wedding decoration, I realized that there is no loss risk in this business. Here the profit is less but there is no loss. We only have to pay the employees and wash the clothes after using them for the wedding. We take good care of each of our employees. Pay them on time. There are many employees who we hire on monthly salary and some craftsmen who are hired on 1-day salary only for making wedding designs. Moreover, soap detergent powder is used to wash the clothes. And lastly we have to bear godown and shop rent every month. These are all our cost categories:

About Profit

We earn 40 to 50 percent of the budget for each wedding ceremony. We set different budgets based on different types of events. For example, if we organize a small decoration, a small amount we got from the client. If wr organize a big wedding event, we get large amount from the client. 40 to 50 percent of the amount we receive from the client is being expenses . Expenses such as salary of employees, cost of transportation of goods, cost of damage to goods, cost of cleaning goods after the ceremony etc. The remaining 40 to 50 percent of money remains in our hands, these are our profits.
