Review: BoBoiBoy The Movie - Animated Movies For All Ages
Boboiboy The Movie tells of five children BoBoiBoy, Gopal, Yaya, Ying, and Fang in rescuing Ochobot, BoBoiBoy's robot kidnapped by the Tengkotak Gang. The mission of this gang is to seek Sfera power of the first generation who hide on earth to seize the privileged powers of the creature. So they kidnapped Ochobot (which is the 9th generation Sfera of Power) as a guide to discover the position of the first generation Sfera Power. That's where the adventures of Boboiboy and the comrades begin. All five are accompanied by their teacher Papa Zola to a floating island, the place where Ochobot is hidden.
I am amazed by the Animonsta production house that produces animated films as good as this for just $ 1.21 million USD. For me, it's a very low budget when compared to Big Hero 6 ($ 165 million USD) and Frozen ($ 150 million USD) movies from Disney. I think from the storyline, special effects, editing, to the audio visual, BoBoiBoy The Movie is quite brilliant with the very limited. There may be some scenes there are drawbacks in terms of special effects and graphics in Boboiboy The Movie is mainly on the scene on the Floating Island.
I love how Nizam Razak, as the director plays the emotion of the audience during the battle scenes of BoBoiBoy and his comrades against criminals. I also like the dialogue that is not boring even enough entertaining for adults. Although this is a children's movie, there are some jokes that can tickle adults. Through the character of Papa Zola, BoBoiBoy describes some of the phenomenon that is currently the trend, one of which is the phenomenon of 'selfie crazy'.
In terms of music latanya was in my opinion quite "alive" and able to strengthen the visual on every scene in this film. This is where Yuri Wong, the person responsible for creating the background music of Boboiboy is smart to play emotions. I just feel the dough backstill Still Here Bunkface singing is rather annoying when the scene against the giant octopus in the middle of the story. This music is not very suitable to use on the scene. I think it's probably too early to use the main song of the movie in this scene.
I actually hope this song is played when the top battle with the Tengkotak Gang that looks so emotional and dramatic. It is in this scene that a "burning spirit" song must be played when they begin to feel desperate to fight against the main enemy. However, this is not a significant shortcoming.
Overall, I really like the movie Boboiboy The Movie. BFilm is not boring and entertaining for both children and adults. In addition, many lessons and values of solidarity that can be an example for children.
