My big Granadilla crop in my family garden and its contribution to health
Good morning Steemit friends. After a few days away, I'm joining publishing my harvest at home, this fruit some know them with the name of patch and others call it granadilla grande or badea.
Annex series of photos of this small garden that I have at home, where this plant was planted and that is now giving this wonderful fruit, which brings great benefits. Let's know a little about this fruit and its contribution to health.
It is a vine type kills, which grows very fast expanding around it. If it is near a tree or wall, this plant climbs and coils around it. In order for the fruit to be born, it is necessary that the pollination process be carried out, where the insect called a cigar must reach the flowers where the pollen is found. The fruit that I have harvested has weighed between half a kilo to more than a kilo. In the images we can notice the force that this plant has in supporting the weight of this fruit.
How to consume it
It all depends on the taste of people, some like to eat the pulp of the fruit and its seeds naturally. Another option is to make juice, juice well known mostly because it is tasty if you add milk, you just have to place the pulp in the blender with water, sugar and milk, then add the mixture in a glass and place some seeds on top. Very tasty!
