Future of Steem?

I was wondering how Steem will advance as a cryptocurrency. It's been ages since we saw it crossing the USD 1 level. There has been good movement although in other currencies.
What are your thoughts?

    Unfortunately there is very little demand for Steem coins outside of this Steemit forum, which itself is in rapid decline, therefore it is very unlikely that Steem coins will ever rise significantly (if at all) from their current price levels.

    Hey Rahul,

    that's a very good question.

    First off we are still in bear territory and the most crypto have not run just yet.

    But you are right that steem has not been doing well relatively. I think it needs some real work to move it forward and maybe Justin will bring some of that.
