Facebook vs Steemit

I have been on Steemit for about three weeks now, I have spent most of my time online on steemit and my interaction on facebook has dropped to the point of almost no return on facebook. I do log back on it once in a while but coming across a platform such as Steemit just makes me realize that facebook has been chewing me up for years to the point I think I have no taste left in me :P

I as a university graduate myself, feel like many of us graduates are not lucky enough to just land a job, let alone start a business now a days, then looking at guys like Zuckerberg makes us feel even more worthless, even though we spent more time at university to develop more skills all these thoughts come rushing to mind, while we sit back and lick on the wounds of being called jobless by the society.

we spend more time at school to acquire more skills and then are told by people sitting higher in hierarchy of a corporation such as Facebook that we are not worthy enough to be selected for a job just makes one think whether it was all worth it and many alternatives to a university do exist. Such as our wonderful platform of steemit that allows us to produce value for blogging and pursuing ones entrepreneurial dream without requiring me to now essential skills of write an html page.

If I could make a dollar for every time I told some one that I was an entrepreneur and person responded by calling me jobless while suggesting new ideas to land a job, I am sure I would be a millionaire by now.

Plus now their is a huge line of similar people on this platform who are perusing that same dream, soon I feel cryptocurrency platforms are going to become like India. Where talking about sex is a taboo but somehow every Raju, Muthu and Anand have about 20 children in their houses.
