Almonds are beneficial for diabetic people
Almonds can be beneficial for the health and heart of patients of Type II diabetes in India. In a recent study this claim has been made. Researchers said that consuming daily almonds is helpful in improving glycemic and cardiovascular standards. The research published in the Metabolic Syndrome and Related Disorders Journal said, "India has become the capital of diabetes in today's date. Here, the number of Type II diabetes patients is growing alarmingly."
At one time, diabetes, which is said to be a disease of the rich, is spreading rapidly in every section of society in today's date. Dr. Anoop Mishra, Director of Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases, Diabetes Foundation India and Chief Project Officer Seema Gulati studied the effects of almonds in the daily diet.
In Delhi for research, 50 people aged between 25 and 70 years old who were afflicted with Type II diabetes and increased cholesterol were included. Researchers found that continuous consumption of almonds improves the standards like total cholesterol, serum triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, HbA1c.
