[Steemit-Tip] Guidelines to start earning

Being successful on Steemit requires hard work and the things I learned so far on Steemit helped me out big time! I always follow these guidelines myself and it gets me higher and higher on the 'food chain' to be a dolphin. So lets get started!

Posting & Commenting

When you post something you post it to your followers. This will have the exposure to them and they might upvote your post. It will also be included on the new page and perhaps even on the Hot or Trending page. This can be your main source of income when you first start.

You can also comment to others. This will give you exposure to the author of the blog and also his readers. If you post a meaningful comment it is likely that they will check out your blog and upvote your blogs and comment.

Start interacting!

Interaction is a great way of getting to know new people and those people are the ones you need. When you build meaningful relationships on Steemit they will follow you and check out your content much quicker than the rest. So interact with around 10 people and grow together! This will certainly boost your payouts in an effective way.

Originality is needed

Be Original and write about things you love. When you have passion in your writing, your readers will notice that. And that's what you want. When you love cooking like @gringalicious you can brand yourself like that. Her posts are amazing and her recipes are great. On top of that her photography is stunning! Next to her there are tons of others that write with passion. So do that!

Upvoting for curation rewards

I've talked about curation rewards as well in depth. SO you can check that post out. But curation rewards are really useful to boost your Steem Power. When you're a minnow it doesn't bring you a lot, but it's nice to build it up and it just requires good upvoting from your part ;).
