Ceo of Starbucks Throws His Hat in 2020 U.S. Election....Guaranteeing a Trump Re election :(
#

Saw him on The View today and he was talking about his announcement to run for President and dethrone Trump.
Another Bliionaire...
Thinking because he has been successful in business ( and yes has over a billion dollars) that he can run a Country. Well we have seen where that has got us.
He just might find out,,,
That running a gov't is totally different than running your own Corporation like Starbucks. You have checks and balances in a Gov't that keep a tight chain on the President if he wants to make some changes.i.e the Senate, House and Supreme Court to name a few.
But
I did like what the Starbucks CEO said about returning our Country to one of decency and integrity. Seems like we lost a lot of that in the last two years. He was very passionate about it.
Conclusion...
As the women on The View pointed out he is running as an Independent. This will fracture the Democratic party and most likely ensure Trump will be re elected.
Oh well, somebody give me a double dose of caffeine in my Starbucks Cappuccino. I think I'll need it for another six years ;)
Cheers,
Robert Andrew

I will like whoever the President of America will be elected later as long as he loves peace and can make this earth safe without war.
I hope what he planned for the election will be achieved to run a country
That you successful in business or a billionaire in dollars does not make you to be a good president. Well nobody can say. Let us look out for the best. Maybe he can or maybe he can't, nobody can't say for
I pretty like it when a big boy drops a challenge on another big boy, while as it seems more of a party due to their both financial capabilities, I wouldn't expect much from either...(thoughts along a Kenyan system)
If the Democratic party is that divided, then his candidacy is a sign of healthy democracy working as it should, not some nefarious plot to guarantee Trump a second term. Furthermore, he grew up in the projects and built a successful business. I'm not sure why that's considered a valid reason to hate or shame him.
He can't be both irrelevant and a spoiler candidate. If the only complaint is that he's not running on one of the corporate War Party tickets, I see that as a reason to support him, not oppose him. Though unlike most who get their "information" from cable news pundits and biased "mainstream" newspapers, I've actually researched his policy views and disagree with a lot of them. Still, he supported Clinton in 2016 but the Democrats are running even more on identity politics and emotional pleas, devoid of any actual policy discussion and certainly evading any questions about how to pay for all these massive new federal programs they're proposing. While I disagree with Schultz on many things, at least he's trying to have the conversation we should be having - namely that a near $22 trillion national debt is the most immediate problem we as a nation need to solve.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I think there is enough fracturing in the Republican party already that it might not have as big of an impact as we think. Only time will tell. A lot can happen in the next two years that could shift things one way or the other.
