Short Stories : Tale of Pineapple

Once upon a time there was a mother and daughter living in the province. Aling Rosa is the mother and Pinang is the daughter. Aling Rosa really love his daughter very much, thats why her daughter is living in comfort , always getting what she wanted. Aling Rosa want that her daughter to learn household chores but the daughter always making reasons that she didn't know how to do house works.

One day Aling Rosa got sick, and having a hard time getting up and do some household chores.So Aling Rosa told her daughter if she can cook for rice but the rice got burned because Pinang did play outside and didn't attend what she was cooking. Still Aling Rosa understands her daughter since she was taken good care anyway by her daughter.

Aling Rosa's sickness still not well and that Pinang needs to do household chores. One day when Pinang was about to cook , she always ask each items before she can even do some chores. Making each household chores takes long time. That's why her mother says to Pinang "If you could have many eyes you could have seen what you are looking
for instead of asking".

After that Pinang just in silence while listening to her mother since she already know that her mother is angry, after that see left. Aling Rosa's sickness was healed and she is looking for her daughter but she couldn't find it , she noticed that there is an object that is like a head with many eyes, she then recalled that she did say to her daughter. And that
what she did effect and see feel sorry about it. After that Aling Rosa did take care of it and named it as Pinang , but as time goes by it was called "Pinya" , tagalog word for Pineapple.
