Tagaytay escapade: Day 1
Tagaytay is one of the "over -the-weekend" getaway of most families and friends especially during summer time to escape the heat of the Metro.
So my friend from Bicol is visiting and needs a place to go to mend her broker heart. I was thinking where to take her. Somewhere relaxing yet near. I checked online and found a couple of places in Tagaytay. So a 2 day adventure begins.
We boarded a bus going to Batangas via Tagaytay in Pasay bus terminal just below the MRT Taft station near McDonalds.
It's an hour and a half ride without traffic. We were dropped in Olivares and we rode a tricycle from there to Sky Ranch.
The entrance fee is $2, which will be all worth it.
With a view like this of the Taal lake with the cold wind brushing your face, you will forgot that heart break for a moment.
We also rode the Sky Eye, the highest Ferris wheel in the Philippines because below it is a deep cliff. It's quite thrilling. It only costs $3 per person.
This view is not even when you are at the top.

She looks amused.

We walked around and took some photos of the flowers near by.
We rode the Log coaster afterwards. This is for $2 per person and it's a fast ride with sudden turns. Better hold on tight.
That was quite intense and fun.
Next we trekked this never-ending bridge. It will literally tour you to the whole area if you follow the path.
We rested in this cottage to just appreciate the view. There are food vendors around so you won't go hungry.
There's also some shops that sell clothes in bargain.
This one is nice. But due to the weather in the Metro this clothing won't be applicable. It only costs $2.
There are also other attractions that you can check out like such as Super Viking, Sky Cruiser, Mini Viking, Express Train, Wonder Flight, Flying Bus, Red Baron, Nessi Coaster, Snail Attack, Top Dancer, Jump Around, Grand Carousel, Bubble-O-Fun, Riding Loop. Check out the details from their website.
There's also a lot of souvenir shops around the main entrance. It ranges from snacks, accessories, pouches, bags, and clothes. You can even haggle when it comes to the pricing.
Since it's getting late we decided to stay in my parents house in Cavite, around a 30 mins ride and spend the night there and will be back tomorrow for more adventures.
Watch out for that. :D

Yes, I believe it worked temporarily. My friend was quite happy that weekend. Try it, it's really fun. Part 2 & 3 is already posted as well. 😊
