EVERYBODY GO CHOP BREAKFAST (EVERYONE MUST SUFFER HEARTBREAK BEFORE GETTING IT RIGHT).... HOW TRUE?

in Steem4Nigerialast year

Good day my fellow steemians. Today I want to share with you all my perspective on the contest topic.

INTRODUCTION

"Everybody go chop breakfast" is a popular Nigerian slang about heartbreak. It talks about the idea of relationship breakup and heart break The statement "everybody go chop break fast" is not farfetched and is often quite true. Everybody who is willing to love will at some point in their lives experience a heart wrenching pain which can be caused by a lot of factors like betrayal, rejection, abandonment and so on. Whosoever be the cause of such heartbreak, its likely it may be unintentional. After all no one would willingly inflict pain on their loved ones. But then again I may be wrong. We are all humans, and to err is human, to let go and forgive is divine. Unfortunately not many of us possess such forgiving spirit and we often live a life of vengeance and regrets. The worst of them all is when you can't forgive yourself.

We tend to hear stories of individuals who have undergone heartbreak and come out as a different person. There is no injury that doesn't leave a scar. And as time passes such individuals turns out to become bitter and vengeful while other time that pain turns out to be the driving force such person needed to succeed

Whichever be the case, loving in itself is a risk, and the heartbreak is the pain that comes with it. There is a saying which says no pain no gain. And there are some lovers who would tell you loving him/her was worth the heartbreak. In the end such heartbreak is a necessary pain some need to grow emotionally.

Although I haven't experience any breakup or heartbreak of my own, however I have heard stories of people who had. One was about two young individuals, James and cherry. They were passionately in love with each other and in a romantic relationship. Their love was genuine and fierce. A strong passion that could burn and it almost burned them apart. Things were going quite well at the beginning. But they were young and yet to fulfill their dreams. James was overly ambitious while cherry was rather homely. They came from two different worlds and their parents wanted different lives for them away from each other. As strong as their love could fight they fought until one faithful day James left. Cherry came looking for him but she find out he was gone. His family was gone, his number was unreachable. There was no way she could contact him. He left just like that, no goodbyes no phonecalls, not even a letter. Cherry found her self in an immense heart wrenching pain she couldn't escape. She was so lost, so sad and miserable. She never believed the one she loved so much could leave her like that, as if she was nothing. No explanation, nothing.
As time went on she tried moving on but it was hard. Sometimes she often wondered if she was ever good enough, if she did anything wrong or something. It always left her feeling insufficient about herself.

CONCLUSION

As humans we have a heart capable of loving, and with living comes a certain amount of heartbreak and pain. Don't venture into it if your not ready for the heartbreak that comes with it. Surely Everybody go chop breakfast once in their life time. I hope such pain that comes with it don't make you to end up feeling inadequate or makes you live a life of vengeance or regret.

The sight of the word breakfast gets me scared sometimes.

Am glad you have not experienced heartbreak. Even though the experience may not look like a good one at the moment but I tell you the truth that heartbeat helps in sharpening the life of people. Infact when you experience heartbreak or break fast you will learn to value people.
