end of time

step by step our footsteps
seconds we pass by without maps
along with a wave of hands
down the road leaving a distance

a series of questions overshadow the end of time
a line of thought wants to change shame
what has our legs passed is useful
what has our hands done has meaning

the end time is getting closer
the end of time is shorter
will we be better
will we be wiser

our feet never feel tired but the heart wants to always walk
our hands never feel bored but will always talk
these lips even feel worn out
but the tongue always wants to master the mouth

so I decided to take a break
even though it's not at its peak
so you can reflect and see better
so that eye contact can be clearer and brighter

ujung waktu

setapak demi setapak langkah kaki kita
detik demi detik kita lewati dengan tanpa peta
seiring dengan lambaian tangan
menyusuri jalan hidup menyisakan jarak

sederet tanya membayangi akhir waktu
sebaris pemikiran ingin mengubah rasa malu
apakah yang telah kaki kita lewati berguna
apakah yang telah tangan kita lakukan punya makna

ujung waktu kian dekat
ujung waktu makin pendek
akankah kita jadi lebih baik
akankah kita bisa lebih bijak

kaki kita pernah merasa lelah tapi hati ingin selalu berjalan
tangan kita pernah merasa jemu tapi kemauan selalu berbicara
bibir ini bahkan pernah terasa kelu
tapi lidah selalu ingin menguasai mulut

maka kuputusan untuk rehat sejenak
meski tak sedang ada di puncak
agar bisa bercermin dan melihat lebih baik
agar tatap mata bisa lebih jernih dan terang
