IBIZA IN WINTER. Sunday 20km walk.
Dear Steemians,
Last Sunday I took the chance to have a little holiday here at home. I have more work than I can do but I thought I just needed a break. I´ve also been following the current events quite closely and I feel life is so fragile and it can change from one day to the next so quickly. That is always the way, but this time its triggered by this war, so close.
So I joined @ibizaki and a friend of his on a long hike thought remote paths and on to the coast.
Now is also the best time to enjoy the beaches and wilderness before all the tourists arrive. This year it´s thought that it will be a crazy time. The night clubs have been closed for two years and plan to open from the end of April. I´m really dreading that. Too many people on a small island, taking lots of drugs and driving crazily. So, another reason to enjoy the calmness now!!! :-)
Here are some images of the hike.
We started in an urban area to finde the trail into the woods.
Then the trail up the mountain in the woods goes for quite a few kilometers.
Then the trail goes down, down .. towards the coast.
Then.. the virgin coastline, pristine waters!

I didn´t get in the water this time, but it looks so good!
Got home in time to have lunch and work all afternoon.
Doing something like this is like a little holiday.

Hermoso lugar para caminar y relajarse. La guerra es un tema de preocupación mundial, es muy lamentable lo que esta sicediendo. Esa caminata tal vez sirve de reflexión y reconocimiento de que la tranquilidad y la paz son grandes tesoros de la humanidad a veces muy efímeros. @romanie It really is a wonderful place to enjoy a short vacation where you can breathe fresh air and enjoy nature, I see the photographs and imagine myself walking or running several kilometers enjoying every second, I am glad that the places open for tourists and young people but unfortunately they abuse it, that the enjoyment of others is lost. It really does seem like a charming island if you don't visit the tourist hotspots. I was always put off by them...
I can totally get why you have been put off by Ibiza, but there is another part that is still wonderful.
Spain has more beautiful places have nice moments ☺️

What a beautiful human being did not slaughter this beautiful untouched landscape. I would like to take a walk in a place like this right now and finally go to the sea. I have to wait for the weather to get a little warmer for this.
