PHOTOGRAPHING THE TREE OF POSSIBILITIES AND PAYING IN STEEM./FOTOGRAFIANDO EL CUADRO Y PAGANDO EN STEEMS
Dear Steemians!
Just wanted to share a little bit of news on how we are using Steem to pay for things amongst us, in the daily life.
Before I put this large painting I had been working on for the past four years (https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/the-tree-of-possibilities-four-years-in-the-making) up at the exhibition last month, I asked my photographer friend @xaviduran to please photograph it at a very high resolution.
We found a place out in our garage where the light was indirect and we used a couple of props to direct the light in a balanced way.
When the job was done, he proposed to be payed in Steem and I thought that was a great idea!
Thing is we have been very busy with many other things since then and today we finally came around to making the transfer. Now I just have to wait to see the final photo. He made 9 sections of the painting and is currently building the whole from these nine parts.
I hope this post inspires you to also use Steem to pay for things .

Sólo quería compartir una anécdota sobre cómo estamos utilizando Steem para pagar cosas entre nosotros, en la vida cotidiana.
Antes de poner este gran cuadro en el que he estado trabajando durante los últimos cuatro años (https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/the-tree-of-possibilities-four-years-in-the-making) en la exposición del mes pasado, le pedí a mi amigo fotógrafo @xaviduran que por favor lo fotografiara en una resolución muy alta.
Encontramos un lugar en nuestro garaje donde la luz era indirecta y utilizamos un par de accesorios para dirigir la luz de forma equilibrada.
Una vez terminado el trabajo, me propuso que le pagáramos en Steem y me pareció una gran idea.
La cosa es que hemos estado muy ocupados con muchas otras cosas desde entonces y hoy por fin hemos podido hacer la transferencia. Ahora sólo tengo que esperar a ver la foto final. Hizo 9 secciones del cuadro y actualmente está construyendo el conjunto a partir de estas nueve partes.
Espero que esto os inspire a usar el Steem para otras transferencias!
