The Local Government
As a youth Corper in my Country, we always do Biometric clearance at the beginning of every month in order to be eligible to be paid our allowance. Due to the protest earlier this month, everything was put on hold including our Community Development Service because of safety and we all thought that the clearance was going to be automatic for everyone only for them to take us unaware.
I woke up around 7am because our Local Government Inspector asked us to come by 9am. On reaching my local Government by 9.40am, I found out that the woman wasn't there yet. The monthly clearance was scheduled on 30th of this month and the penalty for missing the clearance is no allowance for the month and two months extension of service without pay.

We had to wait for a while before she finally came around 11.14am. We had a brief meeting that lasted about 25minutes before the Biometrics started. Network was quite terrible at the place we were and we couldn't connect to the portal so we had to change location to another place. Before I finally do the clearance it was 2.40pm in the afternoon and I was very hungry because I didn't eat before coming to the place because I thought we were going to finish on time.

From the Local Government, I went to the market to buy a few things and I finally got to my house around 4.30pm. On getting home, I ate before making Okro soup for dinner.
