My journey to Cambodia part2: Take of from Amsterdam Schiphol

in #life7 years ago

I woke up with a weird feeling in my stomach, because i knew it will be a long day.
Then i prepared myself to travel and drove with my family towards Amsterdam Schiphol airport. We drove towards schiphol with two cars, and was of my brother-in-law , who drove with my sister. And a good friend @rasowi3113 drove the other car.

Then when we almost reached the airport, we got the phone call from the travel agency.
Explaining to us, that the flight was canceled and that we can go tomorrow.
And we could not accept that, so we stopped on the side of the road and called back to the travel agency.

While we stood there my husband made some pictures of airplanes flying by.

But on the same moment was my little sister already at the airport, she also heard the news from the travel agency and did everything in her power to get a seat for everyone in a plane, towards Cambodia. Then she called us back, that she managed to fix something and we when further on our way towards the airport. But then, another problem occur, the moment we wanted to park the car, we got separated and lost each other. There for we had to wait here in front of the entrance.

Good thing is that we did not have to wait long and we could go further to check in.

What was a very difficult part, because i had to say goodbye to my family.
My daughter was strong, but my little son had it difficult on the moment i walked away.

Because saying goodbye is always difficult, but i only stay for 3 weeks and then I'm back.
And here we are in the airplane preparing for my next phase of this journey. I sit here in the middle between my sisters

The hardest part was walking away from my family and stand there in a line, while they stood there looking at me. My husband could not stand it anymore because our son was crying, and then he turned around and walked away, while he looked straight into my eyes, with a sad look... whispered goodbye.. And my son did not cry long and he is strong and wise and knows it's important what i must do. There for when he got home, he when to play Blackops again . :)
